Interfaces – Diploma Exhibition – Kunsthochschule Mainz

The diploma show „Interfaces“ brings together a range of rather iconographic paintings, arranged in a way that seems disorienting, even comical due to their delibarate incongruity. These images are put in place as agents of emotional states and ideologies, drawing from an archive build of subjective, aswell as public content. The unifying element within them is found in the consumption choices and means of production which constitute them – the interface, in whatever way.
